Review of Into the Blue (2005) by Brent — 26 Sep 2008
Drab thriller that is dis-jointed, awfully put together and not in the remotest part exciting.
It's some rubbish about looking for shipwrecks on the bottom of the ocean and finding a plane full of drugs instead.
All the characters are conceited and loathsome and generate no feelings of sympathy or empathy.....I found myself routing for the sharks in most scenes.
The suppsoedly brilliant twist is nonsensical and pointless as it involves a character we've all but forgotten about and is just the altest in a long string of scenes which threaten to promise tension but end up with yet another series of shots of petty people swimming.
Quite frankly, if that's all you're bothered about then you may like this load of toss but you'd be better finding a rerun of Baywatch on TV.
