Review of Into the Abyss (2011) by Jonathan D — 07 Jan 2013
This was an intriguing documentary. It became quite clear at some point in the movie that a significant point Herzog was getting at was his disdain for capital punishment. I valued his evidences and his nose for detail in asking questions.
Herzog delivers a well crafted documentary, however the runtime seems quite drawn out at points. Overall a solid film, and if you enjoy documentaries this will be one to watch at least once.
