I've seen Herzog's tv shows on Death Row and expected something similar. Not sure if this film made much sense. It ind of explored the theme but some of the questions asked were odd. Best interview was with the former prison officer on Death Row.
The case in question seemed very much an open and closed book so not one of the more compelling Death Row stories. Not Herzog's best work.
