Review of Into the Abyss (2011) by D.a. Z — 22 Feb 2014
This is an interesting look into an unexplainable crime. Some reviewers suggest that this movie is unbiased, but that simply isn't true. Herzog himself says that he's against the death penatly at the beginning of the movie.
But his bias doesn't necessarly subtract from the movie. If anything Into the Abyss Feels a little disjointed. I wasn't quite sure what Herzog was trying to do - tell a story, make a point, make some money - I don't know.
This could have been done better.
