Review of Into Great Silence (2005) by Jared W — 11 Feb 2008
Fascinating look at what goes on in the Grande Chartreuse, one of the worlds more austere monasteries. You have to be in the proper mood to watch and to enjoy this rare look into the monk's lives, otherwise it will all seem terribly boring.
The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and this work reminds one of the power of silence.
