Review of Interview with the Vampire (1994) by Sapphire G — 29 Jun 2011
I can't believe this was just 2 hours long, seemed like 4 to me. I disliked the novel, it bored me to death. So I didn't have great expectations for this. But the cinematography was very beautiful, and Tom Cruise and Kirsten Dunst were excellent.
Brad Pitt looked gorgeous and was right in his role: just as boring, brooding, and insufferably tortured as poor Louis was in the novel. Other than constant chatting and instrospection, very little happens in this story.
The plot is virtually uneventful.
