Review of Interview with the Vampire (1994) by Avneesh M — 24 Apr 2014

Interview with the Vampire starts strong and interesting but loses steam halfway through. The first half of the movie was mysterious and engrossing and it was fun seeing Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt share screen space and established a great foundation from which the movie could have gone in various directions but unfortunately picked the uninteresting one.

The style and atmosphere is great and even though the make up seems a bit dated today, it's certainly impressive for the time. In my opinion, this is a movie that could have been great but settled for good instead.
