Review of Interstellar (2014) by Bigz — 10 Nov 2014
Interstellar, taking sci-fi by the throat and giving us something we have never seen before and doubtfully ever will again. I followed this movie since I knew it was in production. I have grown to have great confidence in Christopher Nolan and his abilities as a director, and as a writer, not to mention his brother who helped him with this one.
Quite ambitious to make a movie about a worm hole, even more so that the human race depends on what is on the other end for survival. My mind was blown, such a large scale with very rich and deep emotion for each character.
The grandeur and the detail supersedes anything I've ever seen before. Just when you think this movie is a little too tame, it flips you over. Isn't as structurally sound as some of his others, but this is flat out incredible.
Only the best of the best can take these components and make a movie out of it. And not just a movie, a great movie. Worth a watch.
