Review of Interstate 60 (2002) by Tuomas S — 25 Jun 2009
Supposedly IMDB said that this was a sequel to Motorama but in the behind the scenes they mention nothing about that movie. I got it because of that but surprisingly would have gotten it anyway because Kurt Russell is in the movie.
There are also other famous stars including Chris Cooper, Michael J. Fox, Amy Smart, Gary Oldman and Christopher Lloyd. The film is sort of like Motorama I guess in that it is an attempt to show a different realities of places that do not exist in the real world.
The film has some creative towns and places. The performances are great too and the story was well written. I think the main problem for me was the main character who was not really a artist type at all and it was really awkward to see him painting.
The other thing was how he was made at getting a red BMW convertible even though it was not his kind of car it did not make you like him because of how he did not like it. I would definitely take any kind of car but I guess if his dad was getting for himself he should have got it for himself but that just does not make much sense.
If you get a nice car take it in my opinion. Overall, though the movie was fun to watch and really got my mind thinking. I enjoyed it a lot.
