Contains plenty of tension. Gere is a nasty S.O.B. corrupt cop. Garcia is relentless in pursuing the source of the corruption, officer Peck, through the Internal Affairs Department. A young Nancy Travis plays Garcia's wife.
I really liked Laurie Metcalf's performance as a no nonsense female cop, who is Garcia's senior partner in IA. It is not often that a character like her's is portrayed in a macho cop thriller.
