Review of Intermission (2003) by Patrick P — 19 Jun 2007
I bring this film up in conversation on occasion because, sadly, it's the only example of good Irish cinema that I can speak of-- yes, I am ashamed of myself, both as a film buff, and as a citizen of the great Republic of Ireland.
Cillian Murphy and Colm Meaney stand out in their respective roles in a film about love, regret, rock throwing and vengeance.
Colin Farrell's version of "I Fought The Law" played during the credits is also good for a laugh.
