Review of Intermission (2003) by Alice S — 19 Jun 2012
This movie was supposed to be an Irish version of Trainspotting minus the drug abuse and it is not nearly as good as Trainspotting falling way short but the film is entertaining . An all star cast including now Hollywood A-listers Cillian Murphy, Colin Farrell and Colm Meaney do a very good job with what they are given but the story becomes to mumbled and jumbled and it becomes hard to follow one person's story.
If for instance Intermission had focused primarily on Cillian Murphy's character John like Trainspotting did with Renton they would have had a far better film.
