Review of Interiors (1978) by Chase J — 07 Mar 2008
Hot on the heels of his success with Annie Hall, Woody Allen proved himself to be an American Bergman, with a dash of Chekov, in this sparse, yet elegant drama. Geraldine Page is heart-breaking as Eve, the mother of three uber-neurotic grown daughters, who is slowly losing her mind after her husband leaves her.
Not for everyone, but I find it fascinating.
