Points for Octavia Spencer, even if she's not in it much, but she's great, so it gets points for her. And points to do one thing the Hunger Games doesn't have the balls to do: use their one f-word in a PG-13 film and allow the leading lady to get some action.

Just saying. But, still prefer Hunger Games more, but the Divergent series isn't all that bad, even if it seems like it's wasting talent of a LOT of great actors (mentioned Spencer above, but it also has Judd and Winslet, well, spoiler, HAD, and this one adds Naomi Watts to the mix).

So, a lot of great ACTRESSES (except the leading one, still not all that into her, unlike Lawrence, which is why Hunger Games movies are still better). And there are 2 more of these, that, yes, I will watch, I'm already half-way there, might as well see how it all ends.

Note, haven't read the books, and don't plan to.
