Review of Insurgent (2015) by Matthew C — 26 Apr 2016

These YA films aren't usually anything offensive or all that terrible. They feature enough interesting Sci-Fi elements and action to entertain for a couple of hours. This sequel to Divergent follows suit.

While nothing revolutionary, it's plenty entertaining. It's most glaring issue for me is probably an over-reliance on exposition. Like its predecessor, Insurgent introduces all of these silly terms/names for different places, things, and ideas.

While these are annoyingly explained with heavy exposition, it isn't always easy to keep these goofy words and definitions straight in your head. So are you Dauntless or Abnegation? Id appreciate your Candor.
