Insurgent review: I saw the first movie in this series divergent some time ago. This movie begins with me trying to remember the last one. I thought it could have done a better job tying the two together.
That said I liked it. The acting was fine and plot ok. My issue is the others. The hunger games and maze runner have muddled the whole thing. I wish there was only one series. There is not a lot of substance to this film.
It seems to want to take off but never does. 6 out of 10 for trying to be good.
