Review of Insurgent (2015) by Janine M — 18 Dec 2015

Wow, this was so lame! I loved Divergent which was exciting, action packed, very entertaining and even raw and edgy. Insurgent was the exact opposite...slow, devoid of any realistic action scenes, dull and sanitized with over- emphasis on Tris'es inner emotional battle to accept who she is.

The cast was very good and did a great job with what they were given but the story was like a coming of age soap opera with very little passion.
