The young adult dystopian films so popular right now need plotters to take a break and write something original and meaningful. Go back and read Orwell, Huxley, Bradbury, Vonnegut or even Moore--have a socio-political point to make! And let me count the tropes in this film.
.. Writers, if your films are going to be this interminable, please have something beyond a few video game special effects and cropped hair.
