Review of Instant Justice (1986) by Greg P — 11 Dec 2011
Instant Justice starts off as a pretty solid and promising action movie but then falls off in the final third. Michael Pare plays Scott Youngblood, a Marine that has to go to Madrid to check on his sister only to find out that she's been murdered.
He then embarks on a mission to mete out justice on the men responsible for her death. There is some pretty decent action here and Pare does a good job as Youngblood. The movie then takes a turn when Tawny Kitaen enters the story.
I don't really blame her so much as the dialogue she's given. It's really pretty awful and Pare's get's worse in all of his scenes with her. Even so, Instant Justice is worth a viewing if you're a Pare fan, which I am.
