Review of Inspector Gadget (1999) by Rodney E — 07 Jun 2010
The cartoon was a childhood favorite and Broderick seems to be an inspired choice to don the gogo gadgets but this sucks. Even as mindless family entertainment it fails. It fails as a special effects movie too and the way they pulled the villain off was lame.
The detached arm was so cool in the cartoon. This was clearly a bad idea from a dumb executive who probably picked a random 80's cartoon to make into a movie.
