Christopher Nolan does not make bad movies, that has been established from film-one (Following. Check it). While not HIS best, Insomnia is still a great movie. Usually American remakes are sub-par to the foreign originals, but put in such capable hands as Nolan's, Insomnia is a great obsession/crime thriller.
