Review of Insomnia (2002) by Jacob L — 22 Mar 2012
Insomnia, not Christopher Nolans best, but still a near masterpiece nonetheless. The story line is unlike other mysteries, its one that is not difficult to understand but still gives a strong twist on this seemingly ordinary crime story.
The harrowing performance of Al Pacino along with the terrifying performance of Robin Williams and the incredible performance from Hilary Swank along with the amazing direction from Christopher Nolan is what drives this movie to succeed, not only as a ordinary crime film, but a suspenseful and deceptive crime story.
