Review of Insomnia (2002) by Ken S — 01 Apr 2012
Al Pacino is a celebrated cop facing issues with Internal Affairs who is sent to Alaska to deal with a murder of a young girl. But when he is chasing down the killer in the fog, he accidentally kills his partner.
Now flooded with guilt and stuck in a town where the sun doesn't set all day and night..he is struggling to sleep and deal with the murderer. It is a great thriller directed by Christopher Nolan. I enjoyed it quite a bit, it has great cinematography, a tight plot, and a fantastic cast in Pacino and Robin Williams.
Solid cop thriller.
