Review of Insomnia (2002) by Wayne F — 20 Jul 2012
The problem with this being a Nolan directed film is that we always expect nolan to give us something obscure and out of the ordinary, but insomnia is just a typical crime mystery that marks Nolans weakest film to date.
But pacino elevates the film with his powerhouse performance and the setting is pitch perfect for the damp and exhausted overtone.
