Review of Insomnia (2002) by Alasdair B — 03 Feb 2014
A interesting and disturbing thriller about a cop investigating the death of a young girl. First of all this is a Christopher Nolan film. He is one of my favorite directors ever. This film is good, while not as amazing or as grand as "Inception'' , "Memento'' or the "Dark Knight Trilogy'', it is still a very good film.
The main character is a cop who is investigating the brutal murder of a young girl who is killed by a very intelligent psychopath played by Robin Williams. The man is truly evil, but also smart. He has a silver tongue, meaning basically he can talk his way out of anything and is a very good lair and actor.
Williams does a fantastic job as do the rest of the cast.
