Review of Insomnia (2002) by Grant G — 17 Aug 2014
Robin Williams plays his sinister roles so well, they scare me; and I mean that in a good way. He has this raw energy that is so unmatched, he proves it in both One Hour Photo and this terrifying remake of the Russian crime thriller from the director of The Dark Knight trilogy and the upcoming Interstellar.
Even Al Pacino, Hillary Swank, and the rest of the cast were great, but the real show stealer was Robin Williams himself. I highly recommend this movie and the aforementioned One Hour Photo. They prove that he can do serious drama as well as comedy.
