Review of Insomnia (2002) by Paul M — 23 Dec 2014
Possibly Nolan's most restrained work, as well as one of his best. There's no mind bending plot lines, no complex character arcs, no non linear storytelling, and yet, it really works. It's very refreshing to see Nolan tackle a simple storyline.
It's a simple film noir that does what it needs to do and does it well.
