Review of Insomnia (2002) by James H — 03 Mar 2016
This is a great thriller. I've seen it before and vaguely remembered enjoying it so I decided to watch it again partly due to the fact that the late (RIP) Robin Williams was starring. It suddenly occurred to me that the first time I watched it was because Al Pacino is a good actor and his films are usually a safe bet although his roles are overtly typecast.
Robin Williams however can play any role from Creepy to Killer to hilariously funny to romantic all with the equal excellence. It saddens me that we have lost such an extremely talented actor and I urge you to watch it with fresh eyes.
