Review of Insidious: The Last Key (2018) by Cole H — 09 Jan 2018

I have one question for critics and anyone who rates this movie so poorly: did you even watch the other 3?

Insidious The Last Key (fourth installment) in my opinion has the thickest and most interesting plot of all four movies. There are a few gripes I have such as some cringey jokes from Elise's side kicks and a few minor things. The one major complaint I have is that the ending feels rushed and executed poorly. (Main reason I deducted a whole point for rating).

Insidious isn't the best franchise out there, but if we are comparing this film to the others in the insidious world I would definitely say this is the best film of them all.

I was very discouraged by reviews as I like the insidious franchise albeit it feels low budget at sometimes. Based on reviews I almost considered waiting for a dvd release. Glad I went to see it in theaters. I believe anyone who likes the insidious story will like this movie.
