The final chapter of insidious leads us up to the first film and explains how Elise gets her psychic powers. We are shown when she was a girl and the troubles she lived with, an abusive father and a demon spirit in the house.
She is drawn back to the house for the first time in 50 years to face the demon and her fears. Not as good as the first two but better than part 3.
