Review of Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015) by Lawrence H — 26 Jun 2015

First of all, why is this movie called "Insidious Chapter 3" if it is actually the prequel to the first Insidious movie? Shouldn't it be called something like "Before Insidious?" If this movie is the third chapter of the series, shouldn't it be the follow up of the second one? Now that I got that out of the way, I can say that the movie itself had plenty of jump scares, and I have seen enough of these movies to know when they will happen.

So this movie wasn't very scary in my opinion. However, it did have an interesting story and I didn't get bored with it at all. I am surprised that all three movies in this series turned out to be good.
