Insidious: Chapter 3 wraps up the trilogy rather nicely. It's undeniably scarier than the previous films in the franchise and I must give the makers praise considering I didn't find Insidious or Insidious: Chapter 2 scary at all.

Keeping in line with the other films though is the atmosphere which conveys a great manner of dread and the music which has the torturous sounds of violins in the background. One aspect this movie bests in is the cinematography which is pretty outstanding, not since The Babadook has a horror film looked so sleek and stylish.

All in all Insidious: Chapter 3 is by no means a perfect movie and it has some major flaws but considering many third films in horror franchises suck this easily becomes one of the greats.
