Insidious Chapter 3 is filled more with jump scares rather than setting up a creepy atmosphere. While it does succeed at giving some really good scares, but the film is made worse with dull action sequences and many other things that make it less scary than the first two films.
It still has great acting, with stunning performances by Lin Shaye and Stefanie Scott. It improved on almost everything from the second one, but it introduced some new problems to the series. 7.1/10.
