Like the best horror movies, Insidious: Chapter 3 offers some good tension accompanied with some creepy imagery, great acting and some thematic depth. But like the worst horror films, it delivers lazy jump scares and a shaky final act that might feel a bit too ridiculus, it struggles to reach the heights of the first terrifying roller coaster ride.
