Review of Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015) by Ian G — 10 Jul 2015
A prequel/sequel to the Insidious series, this time focusing on a widower and his family (played by Dermont Mulroney) whose daughter wanting to know more about her mother and achieve some sort of closure with her, approaches Elise Reiner before she started going out on exorcismn missions, and during their session accidentily releases some evil demons on the family.
For all intents and purposes, Chapter 3 is just a chance to see the so called scooby patrol get together for their first case together but that is pretty much it, it follow the standard exorcist/other realm formulas without adding really any new elements or twists to the proceedings.
Pretty much milking the standard brand name until it can be rung no more. Meh.
