"Insidious: Chapter 3" still has a sure hand in Leigh Whannell directing, not just penning the screenplay. So, overall, the third movie in the series has its strengths. It has good character development and depth, good performances (especially by Lin Shaye), and the writing is fairly good.
But there's just one problem...its just not scary enough. Creepy at times, but scary? I don't think so.
