Going to start by saying James Waan has become one the biggest additions to horror directors. He has redefined psychological horror with Saw and redefined actual scary horror with Insidios and continues with Insidious: Chapter 2.
I really do not understand why this was so hated. Its just as scary as the original maybe even scarier at times. The story opens up a lot more with explanations and even leaves open for more great plot lines for the series to explore.
Whatever other people may say James Waan is today's master of horror and Insidious: Chapter 2 is his latest masterpiece.
