Review of Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) by Utkarsh K — 29 Oct 2014

Came in with high hopes, was let down as Wan and Whannell try to build a story out of the bits of its predecessor which is silly than scary. The woman we see at the end of insidious was so effective their but now it has a back story and its just disappointing and it is bad.

Although it has creep moments but they are far from each other and unlike insidious which had a great climax and a great ending, insidious 2 fails there and the climax is just stupid. They have set up for the third but being an insidious fan I was disappointed from this after Wan's fascinating and much scarier attempt at the Perron family.
