Review of Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) by Patrick B — 25 Jul 2014
Subtlety goes out the window as most of the attempted scares are either obnoxiously loud or unintentionally hilarious. By the end, pretty much all sense of dread has been removed from the plot in favor of keeping the whole cast together for the kind of heartwarming moments that belong in a family comedy.
Barely a horror movie, but mildly entertaining nonetheless.
