Scares below par. Compared to Insidious and The Conjuring, the James Wan's sequel in this possible trilogy was sadly... underwhelming. Aside from the one or two memorable scares, this one just didn't scare me, nor peak my interest.
I did enjoy some of the explanations to the first movie thought. Honestly, if you haven't seen the first film, this will be the most pointless and unscary film you've seen in a while. It focuses 100% on wrapping up plots from the original, and worse yet, in a mostly expected way.
