Review of Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) by Brian G — 07 Jun 2014

I was one of those people that loved Insidious so I was very excited to see Insidious chapter Two!

I was pretty let down. My main problem with it was how ridiculous the mother acted in the different plot twists. I am a mom, and I know that no mother would be so negligent in protecting their children. Especially the baby! With all this horrible stuff going on in. the house, she has the baby sleeping alone depending on just a monitor. Any real mom would have moved the crib into their own bedroom. That's just a minor example of what I'm talking about, she did even more ridiculous things throughout the film.

I liked how they tied the two films together, it was pretty cool!

The ending totally wrecked the movie for me. It doesn't explain anything, it just makes room in an arrogant way for another sequel.

The ending was sloppy, like it wasn't planned. It was like an afterthought. Very disappointed in this sequel.
