Review of Inside Out (2015) by Alondra A — 24 May 2018
Ever wonder how our emotions would sound like if they could talk? This film does just that. Inside out, a movie released in June 19th, 2015. It has really been getting plenty of attention. It was directed by Pete Docter and Ronnie Del Carmen. A great adventure to discover.
In the movie, it really captured how a little girl's mind handles an emotional experience. Adapting to a new place or home, like San Francisco, is hard. We see how Riley goes through something dramatic, but learns to deal with the obstacles.
In San Francisco, Riley has no friends, no team, and no father. She was extremely home sick. While Riley has issues in school, home, and her personal life, her emotions had an issues of their own. There is two conflicts going on at once.
As the movie keeps going, Riley realized that what she is about to do is wrong. It was way out of her character, so she backs out. Joy realized that she can't always make Riley feel joyful. Sadness is also needed, so Riley's emotions balance out.
At the end Riley realizes that she has to make the best out of the situation. She does and everything falls into place.
