Review of Inside Out (2015) by Rafael G — 23 May 2018
Different emotions are in Riley's mind. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Worry are in her consciousness. However, as Riley is a small child, she will grow while having changes in personality, mood, etc.
Joy being the leader in the movie can be shown by her handling situations and ordering the rest what to do. One emotion in particular, Sadness, does not know what her function is, and Joy does not know as well so she keeps Sadness away from the memories and Riley.
When a problem emerged, Joy realized sadness's function and her being the key to everything. In the movie, as the story progresses, there is changes in tones, color, and mood. There can be seen some tension between Riley and her parents and more.
This is a well-explained story, and I recommend this for small little children to adults. This movie shows that there is a function to everything and to accept who we are. By also having comedy, it is greatly amusing to watch.
In the end, there is a change from dictatorship to democracy between the emotions inside Riley's mind.
