Review of Inside Out (2015) by Abdulrahman H — 26 Jul 2016
Gives a funny and creative way on how the human mind controls his emotions. The movie did feel frustrating at times, especially when Sadness touches the core memories just for no particular reason, she just acts stupid. But that's the only thing that took me out of the movie. The movie succeeds in having a heart and purpose. Fear was the funniest character I found in the movie. It might seem a bit stretched in parts and it tackles maybe too many problems and doesn't give you a minute to calm things down, it's just problem after a bigger problem after an even bigger problem. But I guess that's necessary for the movie to showcase how caring these emotions are for Riley. It manages to capture my attention and keep me entertained, and that's the only important thing about a movie like this. The movie also makes you care for these emotions and for the girl. Inside Out is overall a movie that redeems Pixar and I hope we get more of these movies.
Score: 8.6/10 (Great).
