Review of Inside Out (2015) by Michael V — 10 Nov 2016
To me, this film really has changed my life. It gives a better understanding in how to deal with your emotions and has multiple morals, like that sometimes sadness is necessary to get support from family and friends and all of your emotions have an essential role to guide you through life. It's remarkable that Pixar was able to make a rather depressing movie still funny (although you might struggle with your tears during some scenes.
Furthermore it offers all important factors for a great film: an unpredictable plot, suspense, originality, fantastic actors, a profound message, stunning animation, a marvelous soundtrack and, above all, an emotional roller coaster.
Finally, the audience can empathize with its main character (Riley) and tells basically how puberty is experienced and how drastic changes can effect someone's state of mind.
I would recommend this film for anyone above ten, whether you're interested in psychology or not.
