Review of Inside Man (2006) by Fantasy — 27 Mar 2006
After the garbage I have seen for the better part of a year and a half this was an entertaining film as it kept you on your toes. Denzel Washington was out performed by Clive Owen. Jodie Foster was unnecessary and added little to the film.
The star of the movie was the NY ethnicticty which shined through but only New Yorkers would understand New Yorkers. The ending was a bit of a disappointment as it never explained how Clive learned what was in the box? Still all in all kudo's to Spike Lee, who for once, made a commerical film demonstrating his directing talents without need of using the race card.
