Review of Inside Man (2006) by Moore S — 02 Aug 2010
Definitely a solid film. What Spike Lee does the best is seeing and imagining the characters, the casting was great, couldn't ask for more. Though, considering the story was already there, the only thing left to do is make a movie.
Most of the good things about this movie come from the greatness of the Russell Gerwitz who wrote the actual story. Not a big fan of Spike Lee, because his movie-making is ok, considering he has a good story already.
And is Jodie Foster great or what? C'mon, so good. Denzel played the same character as in any other movie. Clive Owen was surprisingly good, considering I'm not a big fan of him.
