The Spike Lee/ Denzel collabo-joint Inside Man was a clever bank-robbery flick that played out very nice. Owen's and Washington's on screen rivalry is tense and interesting. Willem Dafoe shows up as a cop working the bank case.

He is joined by Denzel and his partner who is played by Chiwetel Ejiofor. They make a pretty heavy New York team. Similar to the movie 'Chaos' with Jason Statham and Wesley Snipes where a bank is robbed but nothing is stolen.

The same formula is seen here in Inside Man but with its only clever little twists. I like the costumes they used to rob the banks, it was concealing yet intimidating. Great concept. Jodie Foster plays a well connected informant who becomes deeply involved with the Bank Robbery itself.

The cast all plays well together and director Lee really captures a great side of New York and follows some pretty meaty, 3-D characters that turn out to be pretty fun to watch. The movie is edited very well as events from before and after the robbery play out back and forth throughout the entirety of the film.

Denzel's cop character Frazier was tough and solid and quick witted. A unique Bank Heist flick with slightly predictable moves and concepts. Semi-believable and highly entertaining makes Inside Man a certified 3-starer.
