Review of Inside Man (2006) by Craig M — 30 Aug 2010
Superb, uber-clever twist on the bank heist formula. Clive Owen tells us at the beginning that he's planned the perfect bank robbery, and his methods and motives are meticulously revealed in his dealings with equally clever cop and hostage-broker Denzil Washington.
I found it a bit slow-going at first, but it's definitely worth staying with it to discover the extremely satisfying solution to the puzzle in the very last moments of the film.
