Inside Man is instantly fascinating from the stylistic intro thanks to a special touch by Spike Lee in one of his best films.
Inside Man features a powerful lead from Denzel Washington, as well as support from Willem Dafoe and Jodie Foster.
There's also a very well written screenplay and a strongly intense mood with many thrills thanks in part to the intense soundtrack and great cast, as well as a fascinating story structure and interesting vary between tones from character perspectives. It also succeeds at telling it's complex story incredibly well and fascinates the audience in several ways.
Along with creative use of cinematography, a great soundtrack and an immaculately fearful atmosphere, Inside Man is one of the best heist films since the 1975 Al Pacino film Dig Day Afternoon.
